What if I want to do a dipstick test with the urine or send a sample to my laboratory?
- You
can use a dipstick with the collected urine before you do the Flexicult
test. Try to do this as carefully as possible to avoid contaminating
the urine (from hands or by leaving the lid off the urine collection
vessel for an extended period)
- The Flexicult test only requires a
minimum of 2.5 ml of urine (ideal is about 5ml). The remaining urine can
be sent to your laboratory. If there is not enough urine to do the
Flexicult test as well then send the urine to your laboratory (=
priority fraction).
